posted Oct 13, 2017, 12:46 PM by Chuck Caragianes

Good afternoon,

It has been a busy four day week here at Maynard High School.  PSATs were administered, our students are preparing for auditions for this year’s musical, The Little Mermaid, our many clubs are regularly meeting, all of our fall sports teams are in action and our academic classes are all in high gear.

The end of the first marking quarter of the year is now coming up quickly in just 3 weeks on Friday November 3rd.  Please help make sure that your student is on top of all of his or her classes with a strong finish to the quarter featuring excellent attendance and quality completion of all assignments.

News From the Studios of WAVM & Mr. Ogden’s Class

This year the students in TV & Radio classes are entering the MIAA Sports Video Competition.  We are hopeful that one of our videos can at least take second place and even outshines last year's second place video.

These videos reflect so many aspects of video production, and it is truly a remarkable feat for our MHS students.  Through the work of these students, their passion for television broadcast, and Maynard athletics , these videos truly shine.

El Huipil, an authentic Mexican restaurant right in downtown Maynard, has generously agreed to donate 10% of food sales every Monday night for the month of October towards MHS’s student trip to Spain.  This includes eat in and take out orders (but not drinks).  So, leave the cooking to El Huipil on Monday nights and enjoy their food either in your home or with friends at the restaurant.  Thank you for your support.
