It's That Senior Time of Year

posted May 19, 2017, 8:03 AM by Chuck Caragianes

Good afternoon,

It is Senior Project Presentation Day here at Maynard High School as our seniors showcase their work to the MHS Faculty and many community volunteers and leaders.  The quality of our students’ research, internship experiences and final products are truly amazing and cover an incredibly broad range of topics.  Many thanks go out to Mr. Orzech and Ms. LaBelle for their continued leadership of this remarkable curricular strand at Maynard High School.

Our Seniors also begin their final exams next week as they head for their final day of school on May 31st and graduation on June 10th.  Needless to say, the group is very excited indeed.

This past week has also seen our softball and baseball teams in action, WAVM is in the midst of its always impressive year end activities culminating with their annual banquet this Sunday evening and our Chorus and Band put on an absolutely first rate Spring Concert this past Wednesday night under the direction of Mrs. Blanchard.

In other news, MCAS testing continues with our 8th graders taking their final sections this coming Tuesday and Wednesday and our freshmen taking their Science tests on Monday June 5th & Tuesday June 6th.

Underclassmen final exams will be beginning the week of June 12th ending on Friday June 16th.

Please make sure to keep your student on track with rock solid attendance, effort and work completion right until the last day of school on June 19th.
