DID YOU KNOW????????????

This week the Best Buddies organization under the leadership of Katie Panakis held a "Dodge Ball" tournament to raise money for Best Buddies activities. A great time was had by all - super job to all who participated!

This week students participated in a very special assembly regarding the dangers of Tanning and Melanoma. Allison Bosse, as part of her senior project, presented data illustrating the extreme dangers of Tanning Beds etc. for young teens and early 20-something adults. Just one session of tanning can increase the chances of a young adult developing malignant melanoma by 75%! For more information on this senior project and all our other senior projects visit the high school website.

Plans are coming together for our junior/senior prom which will be held on May 11th. Interested students can see Mrs. Bearden for more information.

Congratulations to Mrs. Bearden and her husband! Mr. Bearden recently graduated from the state police academy - one of the first graduating classes in a number of years!

Have a great week!
