Just passed Day 20 of the shutdown - a full month of homeschool. Although this chart only shows questions answered in 20 days, IXL analytics for Fowler shows more than 5,600 skills mastered or proficient in this time. Great job!
It's Trivia Night at Fowler!
Fifteen weekdays into the shutdown, and IXL is being used more than ever. Instead of only Fowler, we are seeing IXL's benefits to distance learning PK-12 in Maynard - 150,000 questions and counting!
Hard to believe we are getting close to 100,000 IXL questions since closure! I'll post an update each Monday until the closure is done.

I'm going to stop these IXL updates now that we've learned the closure will extend. We appreciate your support of home learning despite the many obstacles. Teachers will continue to assign IXL as well as many other activities/projects. Keep being awesome and cool, Maynard!

Families, I promised your kids you would get them takeout from a local Maynard eatery if they get off of TikTok and Xbox, and get to work on school. After such an awesome week of IXL and all of the activities teachers sent home, I think they deserve it!
Another 6,000 questions today! Don't forget - tomorrow is Friday. A great time to hop on the diagnostic and see where it takes you. Parents, no helping on the diagnostic (unless providing a needed accommodation). It's adaptive and needs to see what kids can do on their own.
