Our counselor, Ms. Rutherford, led a 1st grade lesson today on proper voice level based on location. Level 2 in cafe and 3-4 for recess.


Abatement process for the closed wing has begun, work taking place in evening. Air near wing is closely monitored by onsite expert.


Since some people are fearful of dogs, we ask that you do not bring them on school grounds during arrival or dismissal.

Students are responding well to PBIS. They enjoy earning the ‘Golden Spatula’ for expected behavior at lunch. The class in each grade that exhibits the best targeted behavior proudly displays this award on the door for the week.


Just stopped by preschool for a treat! They love playing with the newly donated toys. Thank you!


Maynard SEPAC Meeting: Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m. in the Fowler Library. The SEPAC meeting for this month will be a business meeting and planning future topics.

Preschool and Kindergarten has been canceled until after February vacation to allow time for us to prepare new spaces.

Powdermill road construction begins 1-28-19. Notice for Bus # 1 was sent home via email and posted in News section of GMS website.

Friday, 1/11/19 - we will have an early release (11:45 am) as planned. After a brief evacuation, students are returning to Green Meadow building. All is well.

Parent volunteers helped 2nd graders decorate Gingerbread Men.


Second graders made posters illustrating proper bathroom behavior. Ms. Rutherford, our counselor, facilitated a grade level meeting today to review expectations.
