Maynard Public Schools Summer Update 7/19/2019: Interim Superintendent Search Update, Green Meadow Project Update
The Interim Superintendent Search Committee was pleased with the range of experiences and qualifications of the applicant pool. After careful consideration, the committee conducted interviews with 6 finalists and feels confidant that an Interim Superintendent will be named as early early as next week.
The Green Meadow project continues to be on track for an August 9th completion. Project Manager Bill Goddard is working closely with school and town officials to ensure projects in the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten wing continue on schedule. Custodial and Facilities staff are working hard to prepare the remainder of the building for the 2019-2020 School year. The Green Meadow Future Committee has provided the updated linked below, highlighting some of the work that has been completed thus far. We will continue to update the community as to the progress of this work.
