Good afternoon,
Late this morning a rumor came to our attention regarding the possibility of a student bringing a weapon to school.
The Maynard Police were notified immediately and officers were dispatched. At the same time the student was located by school administrators checked and interviewed.
No weapon was located and after a thorough investigation by Maynard Police and school administrators the rumor was determined to be completely unfounded.
The safety of the students and community members are always the highest priority at Maynard High School and we will always investigate any matter of concern fully.

The science club have worked to explore real World zero electronic waste as part of STEM week. Liz Freeman and Grace Charron are presenting our project to raise awareness about e waste to STEM professionals and industry experts.
