“Winning is great, sure, but if you are really going to do something in life, the secret is learning how to lose. Nobody goes undefeated all the time. If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday.”- Wilma Rudolph

Just a reminder that Maynard High School has its own store though Shutterfly. If you are looking to put together a graduation book, need extra prints or looking for that special gift, Shutterfly is having a sale from June 25-28, during which you can save up to 40% off everything + $29 for any large photo book with no promo code needed. This is an ongoing fundraiser with 8% of all purchases going towards Maynard High School International Student Travel Fund. In the past, our students have traveled to Spain, Cuba, and Canada. Hopefully our students will be able to continue their travels in the future. Please click on the link below to start shopping! Chromebook Collection (or Not Collection) Good afternoon everyone, I hope this email finds you and your family members doing well. All returning high school students are invited to keep their Chromebooks over this coming summer. This will allow our students to remain better connected to each other and Maynard High School staff members through the summer. Additionally, keeping Chromebooks over the summer will facilitate our students being able do summer enrichment activities that high school teachers have prepared. These summer enrichment activities will be posted on our school and district websites early next week. If a high school student is not returning to Maynard High School next year for whatever reason, or does not want the responsibility of keeping their Chromebook over the summer, then we do have two drop off days coming up. On Wednesday June 10th (Tomorrow) and Wednesday June 17th from 1:00-1:30pm Technology Director Adam Steiner will have tables set up in front of the Fowler School to collect electronic devices from students in all grades district wide. Again, high school students are invited to keep their Chromebooks over the summer, but the ability to turn them in does exist for students leaving the district or who would rather not keep them. Thank you for reading. Best regards, Chuck Caragianes
